Project Description
This project was a perfect blend of heritage preservation and modern innovation. The client approached us to replace the aging roof of his 1980s bungalow while retaining its original aesthetic. We removed multiple layers of worn shingles, repaired the underlying wooden structures, and installed premium architectural asphalt shingles that replicated the look of traditional cedar shake. A custom ridge vent system and leak-proof flashing were integrated to ensure long-term protection.
The biggest challenge was maintaining the home’s character while meeting today’s energy and durability standards — and we nailed it. The result? A seamless fusion of old and new that will stand tall for decades.
